Howdy Folks,
This weekends competition in Donegal is being postponed due to surf conditions. It doesn't look like there will be a long enough period of contestable waves.
Plans for a re-run are being discussed so keep an eye on thihs page or on Paddlesurf.ie for details.
Also, please spread the word.

Hegarty’s, Co.Clare
Strong Wind and a hefty swell were the order of the day for round one of the paddlesurf.ie league.
The day started with Tea, Scones and a chat as we waited for the wind to drop.
When the time was right, HP went out in a heavy swell and strong rip, difficulty getting out back meant competitors didn’t get many waves,
but those they did get had fantastic size and some great rides were had.
A number of people came to watch also and great banter was has as they watched people take on big waves and rolling foampiles.
Next up was IC, and again some impressive rides and beatdowns were had.

Spanish Point Paddlesurf Event - Last Paddlesurf.ie event of 2011
Saturday 5th saw the final 2011 Paddlesurf.ie event take place at Spanish Point Co.Clare.
Tides were favourable for all and meant starting time was reasonable and not too early, the sun came out and waves were good.
HP, IC and Waveski all went ahead with nice surfing as competitors tried to find speed on the waves and go for the lip.
After the event the Paddlesurf.ie AGM was held and some new plans to get more involved and develop the current paddlesurfers were made.
