The past weekend 25/26 of April saw the second competition of the 2009 Watertech Irish league and the second world championship team selection event take place in Sligo. With some fantastic local advice, thanks Karl Dolan, it was decided to put off the event until the Sunday and then run in Strandhill. We were rewarded for our patience with some lovely clean surf that lasted the day and made for some great and really close heats.

The points from Team Selection 1. are listed below.  This is a reminder to everyone that you need to let  us know if you want to be considered for a team place.  There's no reason not to put your name forward and if you don't know if you will be free it's still better to register and explain your situation.  Also make sure to request for 2008 points to be considered if you have missed a selection event.
