Saturday – Finals day. Today saw the worst surf conditions of the event by far, which was a real shame following a week of amazing surfing displays. But the best in the world still put on a show and made the most of the small waves. Eoin tried hard in his final but fell short of making a podium finish but he can be very proud of his fourth in the world place. The award ceremony has just been on and the reason for the opportunity to get online is everybody went into the pool so we’ve all had to come home for a change. The real festivities start again soon.
